As if the American people needed proof of the NFL’s conscious decision to share a bed with anti-American black supremacists, there comes this story from the Stars and Stripes.
According to the legendary military publication, an attempt by the national group, American Veterans (AMVETS), to broadcast an advertisement encouraging people at the upcoming Super Bowl game to stand during the National Anthem, has been rejected by the NFL.
The ad, entitled ‘Please Stand,’ was shot down by the League with the excuse that the NFL did not want to take a stand on the issue.
“Really?” remarked AMVET National Director Joe Chenelly, “By not letting us run an ad, we think they are taking a position.”
From the same organization that vigorously defended the rights of racists to make political statements on the sidelines during every seasonal game, came these words from retarded political hack NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy:
“The Super Bowl game program is designed for fans to commemorate and celebrate the game, players, teams and the Super Bowl. It’s never been a place for advertising that could be considered by some as a political statement. The NFL has long supported the military and veterans and will again salute our servicemembers in the Super Bowl with memorable on-field moments that will be televised as part of the game.”
Either McCarthy is dangerously moronic or a sublime liberal zealot. Either way, the pipsqueak should crawl back to The Shire and stop protecting racists in the NFL.
The slimeball told reporters that the AMVETS were given a chance to alter their advertisement but did not respond on time.
Chenelly says McCarthy is a McLiar. Telling the Stars and Stripes that his organization did respond, Chenelly explained that changing the advertisement would have defeated the purpose of its message.
The social media response to the NFL’s latest slap in the face to real patriots, not the overpaid jocks playing for New England, has been fierce:
